The Town of Onondaga Historical Society is a non profit organization chartered
by the State of New York. We have
collections of burials records for our
Town cemeteries, a photo collection,
newspaper articles relating to town
residents, census records, County
Poorhouse records and much more. We
offer a newsletter quarterly for our
members and we have monthly meetings
with guest speakers, and a bi-annual historic house tour.
The mission of the Town of Onondaga
Historical Society is:
To promote and encourage original historical research.
To facilitate better knowledge and awareness of the
history of the Town of Onondaga and the State of New
York.
To gather, preserve, interpret, display and make
available for study artifacts, documents, photographs
and other historical records.
To foster the preservation of important sites and
structures and to assume custody in special instances by
purchase or gift.
